Pizza is no longer a treat that’s forbidden to people who adhere to a gluten-free diet. The options for people with Celiac Disease, or people otherwise avoiding gluten, are vast, and they’re tasty! Major national pizza chains and local eateries often provide gluten-free menu options, but often the best results come from doing it yourself. In fact, making gluten-free pizza dough at home is sometimes even easier than making “traditional” pizza dough. It just requires a good recipe and stocking up on some gluten-free pantry essentials. From there, you’ll be on your way to crowd-pleasing gluten-free pizza pies!

Place in a lightly greased bowl. Cover with plastic wrap. Stand in a warm place for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until dough has doubled in size.
Using your fist, punch dough down. Knead on a lightly floured surface until smooth. Divide dough in half to make two bases.
